Tripoli, 9 June 2015:
Staff and students at Tripoli University’s Faculty of Arts have demanded that the faculty move back . . .[restrict]from the Ain Zara campus to main one at Sidi Mesri. At a protest yesterday, they said the building housing the faculty was unusable.
It is reported that a ceiling in part of the building recently collapsed.
The faculty moved to the Ain Zara campus, formerly Nasser University, after the revolution when it and Fatah University were fully united under the restored name of Tripoli University.
Over 100 staff from the faculty have submitted a written demand to the President of the University also demanding a move back, saying that conditions in the current building were seriously affecting teaching there. [/restrict]
