It is being reported tonight that the finance manager of Afriqiyah Airways has been kidnapped . . .[restrict]in Tripoli.
Siraj Fetouri was seized when he returned on a flight from Benghazi in circumstances which are still unclear. It has not been possible to contact the airline.
Fetouri’s abduction comes two days after the body of another kidnap victim was discovered in the capital.
Doctor Samir Shadi Al-Warshafani’s family had reportedly paid the LD100,000 ransom the kidnappers demanded but he was not released. Instead on Thursday his body was found on open ground. [/restrict]
