Libyan Iron and Steel Company achieves record production in HBI and DRI

‎The Libyan Iron and Steel Company (LISCO) reported yesterday that it is in the process of making two export shipments to Turkey and Morocco.

‎LISCO reported that the ship “GEMINI CAPO” has docked at its port and is being loaded with 10,000 tons of Hot Briquette Iron (HBI) destined to Turkey.

It similarly reported that the ship “HAKKI AYKIN” had also docked at its port and is being loaded with 5,000 tons of HBI destined to Morocco.‎

‎LISCO said these shipments come as part of the company’s strategy aimed at strengthening its international presence and consolidating its position in the iron and steel sector. It said its port is witnessing continuous exports, confirming the growing confidence in its products and its pivotal role in meeting the growing demand for iron and steel globally.‎
