Sirte Free Zone meets Oman Chamber of Commerce at Oman Agrofood 2024

Sirte Free Zone reported last Sunday (1 December) that it had held what it called a collaborative meeting at the headquarters of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The meeting is part of the Sirte Free Zone’s participation in the Oman Agrofood 2024 exhibition in the Sultanate of Oman.

The meeting was to explore partnership opportunities and comes as part of the Free Zone’s efforts to network and establish strategic and economic relations at both local and international levels.

The meeting aimed to introduce the Sirte Free Zone project, its strategic and developmental vision, and the significance of the geographic location of Sirte, highlighting its stability and sustainable development. The meeting also focused on encouraging partnership with Omani investors and companies, inviting them to visit Libya and Sirte to explore opportunities to participate in the urban and investment boom in the city and to discuss investment opportunities in the Sirte Free Zone.

Representatives of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry expressed their appreciation during the meeting for the invitation to participate in the ongoing urban and economic revival in Libya, specifically in Sirte and the Free Zone. They expressed a sincere desire to visit the Sirte Free Zone for further meetings and to discuss proposals and developmental economic projects that contribute to strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries,

This would, in turn, underscore the strong Libyan Omani friendship and the necessity of translating it into tangible cooperation between the Sirte Free Zone and the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
