Aldabaiba receives head of Baker International Corporation and accompanying delegation

Baker expresses desire to work in Libya - Libya seeking investment in renewable energies and gas production.

(GNU).

Tripoli based Libyan Prime Minister, Abd Alhamid Aldabaiba, received yesterday, Tuesday, the President of Baker International Corporation, Douglas Baker, and his accompanying delegation. The Baker delegation is on a visit to Libya to meet several Libyan institutions to discuss aspects of cooperation and investment.

Baker is an oilfield services company.

The government reported that Baker made a presentation outlining the areas of work and proposed aspects of cooperation with Libyan institutions, expressing their desire to work in Libya.

It further reported that Aldabaiba confirmed his government’s support for the presence of foreign companies at all levels in Libya and cooperation with Libyan institutions in all fields for the sake of partnership and cooperation in promising fields in Libya, the most important of which are renewable energies and gas production.
