After a ten-year hiatus, the first flight between Rome and Tripoli will start tomorrow. The news was announced by Prime Minister of the Tripoli based Libyan government, Abd Alhamid Aldabaiba today.
Aldabaiba was speaking before the start of the Conference on Migration and Development in Rome. He said the first flight will be from Rome to Tripoli.
Aldabaiba added that ‘‘This is a step that paves the way for opening airspace with other countries, and we will work in the future to open an air route between Rome and Benghazi.’’
