40-member Tripoli Chamber delegation returns from World of Concrete expo in Las Vegas, USA

A 40 member Tripoli Chamber of Commerce delegation returned from a ''successful'' trip to the World of Concrete expo in Las Vegas (Photo: Tripoli Chamber).

A 40-member delegation from Tripoli Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture returned after what it described as a successful visit to the World of Concrete (WOC) 2023 exhibition in Las Vegas, USA held from 16 to 19 January.

The Tripoli Chamber of Commerce delegation, headed by the chamber’s chairman, Anwar Abu Sitta reported that it was met by a representative of the US Department of Commerce.

Tripoli Chamber reported that more than 1,200 international companies specialized in the fields of contracting, construction, and real estate investment participated in the event with the aim of exchanging experiences and expertise and reviewing investment opportunities at the local, regional and international levels.

Tripoli Chamber chairman Anwar Abu Sitta praised the level of organization of the forum and the enthusiasm of the Libyan delegation of business owners in participating in the events. He also praised their keenness in supporting the efforts of the existing administration to enhance the role of the private sector in the fields of contracting and construction and its contribution to the transfer of modern technologies approved globally through local and foreign companies to implement development and investment projects in Libya and achieve economic development in various regions.
