The Tripoli Chamber of Commerce is organising an aquaculture business delegation to Indonesia from 16 to 17 July.

Tripoli Chamber says the aim of the visit is to learn from the Indonesian experience in supporting the ‘‘Blue Economy’’ and its progress in aquaculture and fisheries.

The visit will include meetings with Indonesian chambers of commerce, business leaders and seek business and investment opportunities

It will be recalled that the Tripoli Chamber:

  • Signed a Letter of Intent with Indonesia’s SME entity, SMESCO to activate joint action on 25 January 2021.
  • Tripoli Chamber reported that this was the second meeting between the two entities following the signing of a previous agreement which included cooperation with Jakarta Chamber of Commerce.
  • London, 7 January 2022:
  • Tripoli Chamber of Commerce had announced in January 2022 that it is co-organizing a virtual meeting between Libyan and Indonesian businesses in the fields of marine fishing, aquaculture, and the protection and disinfection of beaches.
  • In May this year the Tripoli Chamber and in the presence of the Indonesian Ambassador, the Minister of Marine Resources, the directors of the International Cooperation Office and the National Aquaculture Project of the Ministry a workshop entitled “Aquaculture, Maritime Fishing and the Blue Economy: Reality and Hope” was held at the Chamber.
