Libya International Conference for Trade and Investment ‘‘Towards the South’’: Ubari and Tripoli 10-12 December

The Libyan International Conference on Trade and Investment will be held in Ubari and Tripoli from 10 to 12 December under the banner under the banner “Towards the South” (Photo: TCC).

Tripoli, 4 November 2021:

The Libyan International Conference for Trade and Investment will be held from 10 to 12 December under the banner “Towards the South”.

The conference, whose activities will be held in both the cities of Ubari and Tripoli, includes several themes that represent the basic building block for development investments inside Libya and in its geographical and regional surroundings, namely:

  • Renewable energies
  • Mining
  • Agriculture
  • Tourism
  • Real estate investment
  • Infrastructure
  • Free zones and transit trade

Day one in Ubari

According to the arrangements announced by Tripoli Chamber of Commerce, conference participants will meet in Tripoli and will be flown to Ubari Airport, and to the desert resort of Qamar.

The conference activities will start with speeches by honorary sponsors, the Privatization and Investment Board (PIB), and the concerned institutions to present the investment law, and to discuss themes and investment opportunities in each sector, with analysis and discussion.

Days two and three in Tripoli

In the evening of the same day, participants will return to Tripoli to complete the discussion on the proposed projects during the last two days of the conference.
