London, 15 October 2021:

The European Union for the Private Sector in Libya (EU4PSL) in conjunction with Libya’s Chambers of Commerce announced Wednesday that it has launched a survey to identify the most important problems and obstacles facing commercial activities in order to make a reform plan that provides a supportive and effective business environment.

The survey is directed at all owners of economic activities (shops, cafes, factories, export and import companies, clinics and other service activities) and all members of the chambers of commerce.

Previous survey released in July 2021

It will be recalled that Expertise France, the EU4PSL’s implementing agency, released a field survey-based publication in July this year on the profile and needs of Libyan enterprises and business owners for business support services. It was based on a large survey of 568 enterprises who are members of Chambers of Commerce from all over Libya.

The publication presented results, key observations, and operational recommendations for international donors and development aid implementers. It provided critical information for enhancing ongoing technical assistance projects and shaping the upcoming technical assistance to Libya.
