The Minister of Economy of the internationally recognized Libyan government based in Tripoli visited London where he met Britain’s Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Conner Burns last Thursday. The visit was part of the discussion on the development of economic relations between Libya and the United Kingdom, the Libyan Economy Ministry reported.
Ways to strengthen relations between the two countries, especially cooperation in the establishment and management of free zones and special economic zones, as well as a review of bilateral agreements signed between the two countries, studying the signing of a free trade agreement and working to promote investment between the two countries were discussed during the meeting.
