SPARK is a growing, young, dynamic development NGO with 80 staff members in offices in Amsterdam, Belgrade, Bujumbura, Juba, Kigali, Monrovia, . . .[restrict]Mitrovica, Pristina and Ramallah. SPARK develops higher education and entrepreneurship, so that young ambitious people are empowered to lead their post-conflict society into prosperity.

SPARK is currently looking for a:

Country Representative Libya – (m / f) – full time

The Country Representative operates on a national level and officially represents SPARK in Libya. He/she may be involved in operationalisation and implementation of different thematic programs or projects in Libya related to Entrepreneurship promotion and Higher Education development and will support program development / acquisition in Libya.

SPARK’s objective in Libya is to contribute to reform and modernization of Higher (post-secondary) and Vocational Education and Private Sector Development through the promotion of Entrepreneurship and the development and provision of Business Development Services. Through its activities SPARK aims to contribute to sustainable job creation, tackling youth unemployment, closer cooperation between Higher Education institutions and the Business Community and a business environment conducive to sustainable Private Sector growth.
