A roundtable discussion on Libya’s ‘‘Societal Dialogue’’ is to be held in Tripoli. The event is organized by the German NGO, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) and the Libya Centre for Strategic and Future Studies.
The event is a continuation of a long process started in 2014 and more recent workshops in Tunis (September) and Tripoli (June) where an attempt was made to identify the shared values that unite the Libyan nation that include issues of geography, history, religion, language, ideology, identity, citizenship, justice, rights, security and freedom.
The event will also be attended by Dr Ahmed Al-Atrash CEO of the ngo Libyan Experts Forum (LEF) of which the UNDP is a member.
