Sirte Oil and Gas Production and Processing Company reported yesterday that the maintenance team from the Petrochemicals Maintenance Section, in collaboration with the Maintenance Engineering Department at the Sirte Oil and Gas Production and Processing Company, successfully returned the Second Gas Turbine unit at the Petrochemicals Power Plant to service following the successful replacement of the unit's gearbox.
Sirte Oil said this step is part of the ongoing efforts by maintenance teams to enhance equipment readiness and ensure the continuous operation of the industrial complex's power system. Operating this unit will contribute to supplying the necessary electricity to the complex and supporting the continuity of operations and production with efficiency and reliability.
