Libya’s Ministry of Oil and Gas announced yesterday that it will be hosting the National Conference on Just and Sustainable Energy Transition on 24 September 24 in Tripoli.
The event will be with the participation of various entities and institutions involved in the energy sector and sustainable transition.
The Ministry said the conference aims to provide a platform for dialogue regarding Libya's energy future and to discuss opportunities for transitioning to a more sustainable and efficient energy system—one that keeps pace with global developments while safeguarding national economic interests. It also seeks to foster cooperation, facilitate the exchange of expertise, and explore ways to support the country's energy transition process.
