Tripoli based Libyan Prime Minister, Abdel Hamid Aldabaiba, met yesterday with a delegation from the US multi-sector giant KBR (Kellogg Brown & Root).
The delegation included Jay Ibrahim, Head of Sustainable Technology Solutions; Alp Tugay Kurum, Vice President of Business Development and Sales for Europe, the CIS, and North Africa; and Ahmed Al-Ghazali, Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Libya.
The meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation between the government and specialized foreign consulting firms.
The meeting, which was also attended by Mr. Mustafa Al-Mana, Head of the Executive Team for the PM’s Initiatives and Strategic Projects, and several representatives from the American Chamber of Commerce in Libya, discussed the company's vision for developing the projects sector in Libya, enhancing governance, and improving institutional management practices.
The Tripoli government said this aligns with its reform efforts in the oil and energy sector, focusing on improving resource management efficiency and transparency.
KBR is a global American company specializing in engineering, technology, consulting, and project management. It provides services to several sectors, including energy, infrastructure, and sustainable solutions.
