Julyana Free Port reported today that it had received 587,645 tons of grain shipped by 24 vessels during the first half of 2026. This compares to over 321,000 tons carried by 17 vessels during the same period in 2025. This marks an 83 percent increase.
Data also shows a 41 percent increase in the number of vessels received, signalling an expansion in food supply traffic through the port during this period.
Julyana Free Port said the shipments comprised a variety of commodities, including wheat, barley, corn, and soybeans, with the bulk of vessel and cargo activity concentrated in March and April.
These indicators, the freeport said, reflect an increase in grain shipment arrivals, reinforcing its role in supplying essential goods to the local market and supporting handling operations and services associated with maritime trade.
