For the first time in Libya, the Tripoli based Libyan Ministry of Labour and Rehabilitation is organising a forum that brings together diaspora minds and national expertise at home and abroad and launching a digital platform application for communication and information exchange.
Yesterday, participating experts began arriving in the capital Tripoli through Mitiga International Airport. The forum will start tomorrow (23-25 August) under the slogan: "We meet to contribute to the making of the future."
About 100 Libyan experts and competencies residing in 26 countries around the world, representing various scientific and professional fields and specializations, will participate in the forum, reflecting the diversity of national experiences and competencies gathered by the forum in the capital, Tripoli.
The Ministry of Labour and Rehabilitation said hosting these competencies comes within the framework of enhancing communication between Libyan expertise at home and abroad, opening wider horizons for cooperation and knowledge exchange, and benefiting from the scientific and professional experiences gained by Libyan experts during their journey in various countries of the world.
The forum aims to develop a practical framework to benefit from national competencies, establish a national database for Libyan experts, enhance communication with international institutions, transfer knowledge and expertise to Libya, support scientific research and innovation, encourage partnership with the private sector, and provide scientific advice to decision-makers.
