Libya's Tripoli based Minister of Youth, Haitham Al-Zahaf, met with the Islamic Development Bank's (IsDB) representative in Libya, Osama Mansour, to discuss prospects for supporting and financing youth projects through the National Programme for Supporting Micro and Emerging Enterprises.
Training, technical support and grants
The meeting addressed ways to enhance cooperation by providing opportunities for young entrepreneurs to access training and technical support, in addition to grants to launch their projects, thus contributing to the encouragement and diversification of the national economy.
Libya one of the largest contributors to IsDB
This cooperation comes within the framework of the strategic role of the IsDB Group, of which Libya is one of the largest contributors, reflecting the importance of international partnerships in empowering youth and expanding their opportunities in innovation and entrepreneurship.
