Zueitina Oil Co. successfully tests new B1-106/4 well with production rate exceeding 3,000 bpd

Libya’s Zueitina Oil Company announced last Sunday (15 February) that it met with the US-based BlueVee Energy Inc. to review the latest gas processing solutions and technologies during a specialized technical presentation attended by relevant departments and technical divisions.

Zueitina said this comes as part of efforts to enhance technical cooperation and exchange expertise.

The presentation, Zueitina revealed, addressed strategic technical aspects, including the management and treatment of hydrogen sulphide (H₂S) gas and mechanisms to mitigate its operational and environmental risks, as well as the requirements for gas separation and processing according to best practices and internationally recognized technical standards.

The session included a technical discussion on the potential application of these proposed solutions within the Gas Cap Blowdown project at Field 103D, given its importance in supporting development plans and maximizing the utilization of associated gas resources.
