Aljeel Aljadeed launches its ‘‘Oil Fields Connectivity Project’’ to over 200 vital sites

The state Aljeel Aljadeed Technology Company, part of Libya’s telecoms holding company LPTIC, announced yesterday, in cooperation with Hatif Libya Company (Libya Phone Company), the launch of its Oil Fields Connectivity Project.

The company says the project is part of its new Digital Transformation phase for Libya’s vital oil sector with networks built to last and serve Libya’s present and future.

The project includes new, advanced telecoms services provided to over 200 vital sites, including to more than 80 oilfields and oil ports. The services include speeds reaching 100 GB/second and upgradable to 400 GB/second.

The services are designed with international standards providing over 98 percent stability even at the most difficult conditions and installed with 5G ready technology.
