The Al-Bunya Investment and Services Company, a subsidiary of the Libyan Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology Company (LPTIC), discussed its 7,000 Towers Project.

The Towers Project is being implemented by Al-Bunya as part of the comprehensive development plan and LPTIC’s 2030 vision.

LPTIC is the state-owned holding company that manages and oversees Libya's entire telecommunications and postal sector.

The Towers Project was discussed during yesterday’s Al-Bunya Ordinary General Assembly meeting.

The company said the aims of the 7,000 telecommunications towers projects are:

• Reducing operational costs and enhancing the efficiency of telecommunications infrastructure management.

• Diversifying revenue streams and achieving financial sustainability that boosts the investment value of the assets.

• Relying on national talent and leveraging the expertise of engineers from the Group’s companies to manage operations, thereby ensuring optimal utilization of local capabilities and potential.

The meeting also discussed a range of strategic matters concerning the company’s performance and its operational and financial future. Plans for infrastructure development and maximizing the utilization of assets within the telecommunications sector were also discussed.

The meeting included a review of the company’s activity report and the semi-annual report from the Supervisory Board.
