Libya’s General Union of Chambers of Commerce reports that the Libyan International Maritime Economy Forum 2026 is to be held at a leading central Tripoli hotel from 13 to 14 January 2026.
The event will be held under its supervision and organisation and in cooperation with:
- The Libyan Trade Network and the Libyan Chamber of Maritime Navigation.
- The Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport.
- With the participation of a select group of local and international institutions and organizations.
The General Union of Chambers of Commerce says this forum is a leading national and international platform for exploring the prospects of Libya’s maritime economy and reviewing investment opportunities in ports and logistics services, maritime trade, tourism, fishing, maritime finance, and insurance. It says it will be a launch pad towards Libya as a promising maritime destination where the economy meets the sea, and the future meets the broad horizon.
