NOC resumes training cooperation with French training institute (IFP)

During a visit to the French Petroleum Institute (Institut Français du Pétrole – IFP), the National Oil Corporation’s (NOC) Director General of the General Department of Training, Development, and Capacity Building and his accompanying delegation signed an agreement to resume training and capacity building cooperation between the NOC and the IFP.

The agreement includes the implementation of academic and specialized training programmes in the fields of petroleum operations and petrochemical unit operation, as well as other programmes aimed at obtaining specialized certifications.

This visit came in implementation of the directives of the Chairman of the NOC, which aim to raise the level of training programmes and increase focus on refining and developing the sector’s workforce to keep pace with global developments in the energy sector.

It will be recalled that the NOC was participation in the French Libyan Forum in Paris on 24 September.
