The General Union of Libyan Chambers of Commerce announced today that it had launched last Saturday (20 September) the “Youth Empowerment in the Labour Market” initiative at its Tripoli headquarters.

The initiative, implemented by Muzn Electrical and Mechanical Works Company, aims to support and prepare Libyan youth for integration into the labour market.

The initiative began with a specialized training course in the field of refrigeration and air conditioning, one of the most vital specialties in demand in the local market.

During the opening ceremony, Mohamed Al-Raeid, Chairman of the General Union, welcomed the initiative and emphasized the Union’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with the private sector, opening broad horizons for youth to acquire the necessary technical and professional skills.
