‎Tripoli based Libyan Prime Minister, Abd Alhamid Aldabaiba, ‎ received in his Tripoli cabinet office the CEO of Eni, Claudio Descalzi, to follow up on the progress of the strategic projects implemented by the company in the gas and energy sector in Libya. The meeting was in the presence of the Acting Minister of Oil and Gas, Khalifa Abdel Sadig, and the President of the National Oil Corporation, Massoud Suleiman.‎

‎The Tripoli government said the two sides reviewed the progress of the three projects approved in 2023, namely the compression project in Sabrata‎ field, which is expected to be completed by the end of this year, the project to utilise the gas of the Al-Buri field, which is expected to be operational in 2026, in addition to the infrastructure (A&E) in the Bahr al-Salam field, where drilling work began last April.‎
