Libya’s Airports Authority reported today that it had participated in the International Conference on Libyan Air Sovereignty, organized by the Ministry of Defence in Tripoli under the slogan “For the Security and Safety of Air Traffic”.
The Authority reported that the conference, held in Tripoli today, dealt with strengthening military and civil cooperation in accordance with international standards, and exchanging information to support efforts to lift the no-fly zone imposed on the country.
Participants in the conference also discussed the development of air safety standards and strengthening cooperation between national and international institutions to ensure safer and more sustainable air traffic.
The Airports Authority said its participation in this event comes within the framework of the its commitment to developing the aviation sector and preparing the airport infrastructure according to the highest safety standards.
