The Tunisian Ministry of Tourism said last Tuesday (18 February) that Algerians and Libyans were at the forefront of the number of arrivals to Tunisia in 2024.
According to the Anadolu News Agency, Tunisia’s Tourism Minister Sofiane Taqia said in a speech to the Assembly of the Representatives of the People in Tunisia that “10 million and 264 thousand tourists visited in 2024. These included 3.5 million Algerian tourists and 2.254 million Libyan tourists.”
“Tourism revenues were in the range of 7.494 billion dinars ($2.34 billion),” he said.

“Tunisia exceeded the 2019 reference year figures in 2024 and aspires to receive 11 million tourists this year,” Taqia said.
