The Misrata Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, headed by its Chairman, Fathi Al-Amin Al-Turki, together with several members of the Chamber and a group of local businessmen, hosted the Pakistani Ambassador to Libya, Anjum Enayat, and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, held at the Chamber’s Misrata headquarters today, the two parties discussed ways to enhance trade cooperation between the two sides, and open horizons of cooperation and the possibility of linking local and Pakistani companies.
‘Made in Pakistan’ exhibition to be held in Misrata
The meeting also discussed the possibility of organising a Made in Pakistan exhibition to display Pakistani products on the grounds of the Misrata International Fair. The two sides also touched on the problems facing traders in bank transfers between Libya and Pakistan.
Pakistani satisfaction with the economic situation in Libya
The Pakistani Ambassador also expressed his satisfaction with the economic situation in Libya in general and Misrata in particular, and his desire to restore relations between Pakistan and Libya, exchange trade delegations and the participation of Libyan companies in Pakistani exhibitions.
