Central Bank of Libya introduces new LD 5, 10 and 20 denominations

The Central Bank of Libya (CBL) announced yesterday the issuance of new banknotes in the 5-, 10- and 20-dinars denominations.

The LD 10 denomination will be issued next week (26 January) and will at later dates be followed by the other denominations.

The new denominations will bear the signature of the new CBL Governor, Naji Issa.
