The Consul General of Greece in Libya, Agapios Kalognomis, announced that his country is working on launching a direct shipping line that will connect the Greek capital, Athens, with the city of Benghazi.
Kalognomis said, during a ceremony at the Greek Consulate in Benghazi, last Sunday (17 November), that the line will contribute positively to facilitating the movement of passengers and trade transactions in a way to achieve the bilateral benefit of the two countries, according to an announcement by the Greek Government’s Foreign Ministry.
