The Libyan Business Council (LBC) reported yesterday that a meeting was held today at its Tripoli headquarters between its executive management and the Commercial Attaché of the Greek Embassy.
The discussion focused on ways to strengthen economic and commercial cooperation between the private sectors of Libya and Greece.
Organizing a Libyan-Greek business forum in Libya
The meeting addressed arrangements for organizing a Libyan-Greek business forum in Libya, as well as coordinating visits by Libyan business delegations to Athens, Greece, to facilitate direct meetings between companies and economic institutions.
Furthermore, the discussion covered mechanisms for presenting and exchanging investment opportunities available in both countries, and for encouraging commercial and investment partnerships between Libyan and Greek business owners.
"Libya Means Business" initiative
During the meeting, the LBC provided a comprehensive overview of the "Libya Means Business" initiative, which aims to support investment in Libya and highlight investment opportunities and projects proposed by the private sector.
The Greek Commercial Attaché was introduced to the initiative’s pilot online platform, which serves to showcase investment projects and opportunities while facilitating communication with potential investors and partners.
Business owners interested in collaborating or networking with Greek companies are invited to get in touch with the LBC.
