The second Moroccan-Libyan Business Forum and Exhibition was held between 8 to 10 October in the Moroccan city of Tangiers, the Libyan Export Promotion Centre (LEPC) reported.
The event was headed on the Libyan side by its Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy for Economic Affairs, Saad Hanish, Director of the Markets and Promotion Department, Mohamed Al-Habashi, Director of the Support and Export Support Department, Khairi Aburtima, and a group of heads of Moroccan and Libyan bodies and companies operating in the field of economy, trade and investment.
The LEPC participated with 11 companies registered in its Exporters’ Register. It said one of the forum’s objectives is to support companies to access African markets and integrate in the fields of industry, construction and development. The forum seeks to enhance joint investments between the two countries and develop exports and imports to raise the level of economic cooperation.
On the margins of the event, a twinning agreement was signed between the two chambers of commerce in Tobruk and Tangier.
