Tatweer and EU launch AgroLab entrepreneurship and innovation programme in south

Tatweer Research and the EU in Libya announced yesterday the launch of the AgroLab programme to support entrepreneurship and innovation in the agricultural sector.

The programme targets startups and anyone who has an idea for an agricultural or commercial project related to agriculture in southern Libya, specifically from Sebha, Ubari, Kufra, Murzuq, and Brak.

The programme includes activities to support young people and entrepreneurs who are passionate about promoting a sustainable economy in the agricultural sector, including capacity building training, building a network of relationships with experts and investors, and many others.

The AgroLab programme is one of the programmes of Deraya for Entrepreneurship – the Deraya Initiative for Entrepreneurship, and is implemented by Tatweer Research and Flat6Labs, with support from UNDP Libya and the Ministry of Local Government – Libya, and funding from the European Union in Libya.
