Daewoo E&C conducts work site tour in Benghazi of upcoming projects

An engineering team of Korea’s Daewoo E&C (Engineering and Construction) company conducted an evaluation field visit to some of the work sites of projects targeted for implementation in the coming period in the Greater Benghazi area, Benghazi municipality reported last Friday (24 May).

It explained that this comes within the framework of the plan for the second phase of the development of the city of Benghazi, which was announced by the Reconstruction and Development Fund of Libya from inside the municipality headquarters last Monday, 20 May, to implement several vital projects in Greater Benghazi. The Fund is headed by Belgasem Khalifa Hafter.

‎The project sites include:

  • The sewage network of the entire city
  • Completion of the third ring road to the island of Sidi Younes
  • the establishment of two hospitals with a capacity of 100 beds in the west and east of the city)
  • Several other projects included in the plan of the Development Fund for the second phase in the development of services and infrastructure in the Greater Benghazi area.‎
