The Libyan Industrial Union (LIU) announced last Tuesday (13 February) that it is to hold a workshop in May on financing mechanisms and creating a real and effective partnership between Libyan businessmen, financing institutions, and local and international companies.
The revelation came after the LIU had held the second preparatory meeting for the workshop last Monday at its Tripoli headquarters.
The workshop, the LIU reported, will be held with the support and organization of the Central Bank of Libya, the Ministry of Finance, the Libyan Investment Promotion Authority, the Maghreb Bank for Investment and Foreign Trade, the Islamic Development Bank of Jeddah, the International Finance Corporation, and the African Development Bank.
