NOC announces force majeure at Zawia port

Libya’s state National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced Friday that its subsidiary, Waha Oil Company, announces the start of drilling operations for an exploratory well (T1-31).

The drilling operations are conducted in partnership with Total Energies and Conoco Phillips in Concession Area 31.

The NOC said this comes as part of its plans to raise production rates.
