Last Friday, the Emergency Medicine and Support Centre (EMSC) announced that the visiting American medical team completed last Thursday 30 October its stint in Derna – post the Storm Daniel disaster.
The EMSC said the visiting American medical team, in cooperation with its medical team, completed medical examinations in the specialty of internal medicine and physical therapy on cases affected by the flood disaster in the eastern region and other cases at Al-Wehda Hospital, Bab Tobruk, in the city of Derna.
The number of medical examinations conducted were 329 medical examinations specialising in internal medicine and 63 physical therapy cases at Al-Wehda Hospital.
The EMSC said this comes within the Tripoli government’s wider plan of the localisation of treatment programme.
