German Ambassador to Libya, Michael Ohnmacht, announced yesterday that the German University of Bayreuth and Tobruk University had signed an MoU.
The MoU involves:
- Capacity building.
- Training.
- Exchange programmes for faculty members and students.
- Providing scholarships.
- Joint research activities.
The MoU came through a special conference held in Germany on October 17, 2023, which was supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
Commenting on the signing of the MoU, the German embassy in Tripoli said it also looked forward to more cooperation and partnership with Libyan universities in other Libyan cities.
