The Chairman of the Libyan Business Council, Rashid Swani, met with the Greek Chargé d’Affaires, Agapios Kalognomi, yesterday in the presence of the Director General of the Libyan Industry Union (LIU), Ali Nuseer, and LBC General Manager, Hisham Al-Dali.

The LBC reported that the meeting discussed strengthening bilateral trade relations and prospects for commercial cooperation. The attendees also discussed the problems and obstacles facing business owners and ways to overcome them.

Swani stressed the importance of organizing a Libyan-Greek forum this December to exchange experiences and expertise, transfer knowledge and networking between Libyan and Greek companies. The two sides discussed the possibility of organizing economic activities and bilateral meetings to enhance cooperation between the private sector in the two countries.

The Greek chargé d’Affaires, the LBC reported, praised the quality of Libyan products, stressing the desire of Greek business owners and companies to strengthen trade relations and establish an investment partnership with the Libyan private sector.
