Brilliant Talents Artistic Cultural Forum Sebha, in collaboration with A40, have successfully completed “Our Peace Mural” project on the main street of the city of Sebha. The mural, located on the wall of the Faculty of Fine Arts, serves as a visual statement of peace, unity, and hope for the community.

The peace mural, created by talented artists Hamza Ahmed, Hisham Abdel Hadi, and Ahmed Ibrahim, captures the essence of peaceful coexistence through vibrant colours and powerful imagery. The mural aims to spread a positive message, foster a sense of belonging, engage the community, and inspire future generations to embrace peace.

Throughout the project, the artists collaborated closely, combining their unique artistic styles and visions to create a cohesive and impactful artwork. Their expertise in mural paintings, illustration, and sculpture shines through in the intricate details and thought-provoking composition of the mural.

“Our Peace Mural” not only beautifies the cityscape but also encourages dialogue and reflection. The presence of the mural has already sparked engagement from the local community, with passersby stopping to observe the artwork, ask questions, and interact with the artists. It has become a symbol that unifies people from different backgrounds, fostering a sense of pride and connection within the community.

The short-term impact of the peace mural includes increased community engagement, positive emotions and reflection among viewers, potential social media coverage and publicity, a sense of unity and identity, and recognition and exposure for the participating artists. These outcomes contribute to the immediate positive transformation within the community.

The mural’s presence will continue to stimulate dialogue, reflection, and positive social change. Additionally, it has the potential to attract tourists, boost local businesses, and create further opportunities for the participating artists.
