Libya’s Air Ambulance Service reported yesterday that its team has started procedures for receiving the new three helicopters it has contracted to purchase. A Bell 505 has been received, and the remaining two will be received in instalments.
Additionally, it revealed that it will send several pilots to receive the necessary training on the new helicopters.
Libya’s Air Ambulance Service said this step comes within its plans to strengthen its fleet. This increases its efficiency and speed of response and allows it to reach remote areas that do not have airports for landing aircraft.
Thanks to these new helicopters, it added, ambulance teams can reach remote areas faster and provide the necessary medical care to the injured and sick as soon as possible.
