Libyan Express Air Company, a private sector carrier, received its first Boeing 737 aircraft at Misrata airport today.

The craft has a capacity of 120 passengers and will start operating its flights to and from Libyan and international airports.

Libyan Express Air was previously limited to flying ambulances and private flights. It now seeks to expand in the increasingly competitive, wider Libyan market.
