Workshop on “The Future Vision for Localisation of Libyan Industry”

The Libyan Ministry of Economy and Trade is organising a workshop on "The Future Vision for Localisation of Industry" on the side-lines of the Italian Industries Agents Exhibition, held at the Tripoli International Fairgrounds from 23-26 January (Economy Ministry).

The Libyan Ministry of Economy and Trade reported that a workshop will be held on “The Future Vision for Localisation of Industry”. The event will be held on the side-lines of the Italian Industries Agents Exhibition, held at the Tripoli International Fairgrounds from 23-26 January.

The Economy Ministry said the event comes within its framework of supporting economic diversification.

It workshop will be under the auspices and support the Ministry of Economy and Trade, the strategic partner of the Libyan-Italian Chamber of Commerce, the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture and the official sponsorship of Misrata Free Zone.

The Economy Ministry reported that the event will hold scientific sessions on intellectual property rights and Libyan patents in developing Italian manufactures locally, as well as the axes of legislation and simplification of procedures, the importance of transit trade and the role of free zones in their development, in addition to strategies for international trade exchange between Libya and Italy and ways to successfully localise the industry and transfer knowledge.
