The Renewable Energies Agency of Libya (REAoL) seeks to benefit from German expertise in the field. The sentiment was expressed by REAoL’s head, Abdel Salam Al-Ansari, during his meeting with German Ambassador Michael Ohnmacht, Thursday at REAoL’s Tripoli office.

REAoL reported that the meeting came within the framework of its endeavour to benefit from global expertise and experiences to develop and progress the field of renewable energies in Libya.

The meeting discussed bilateral relations and means of activating and strengthening the existing cooperation between Libya and Germany in the field of renewable energies. It also discussed benefiting from German expertise and experiences in this field, given that, REAoL added, Germany is one of the developed countries and possesses advanced technology. This is in addition to specialized German companies and their expertise and capabilities that REAoL can benefit from to develop the field of renewable energies.
