Ministry of Economy participates in strategy workshop for digitalising economic institutions

Expertise France organises a workshop in Tunis for multiple Libyan government Ministries and agencies entitled ‘‘Drafting a Strategy for the Digitalising of Economic Institutions’’ (Photo: Economy Ministry).

The Ministry of Economy and Trade reported Tuesday that it had participated in workshop in Tunisia entitled ‘‘Drafting a Strategy for the Digitalising of Economic Institutions’’ under the auspices of the General Authority for Information and the organization of Expertise France.

The workshop was also attended by the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Labour, the Ministry of Local Government, the General Commercial Registry Authority, the Tax Authority, the Customs Authority, the Syndicate of Public Notaries, and experts in digital transformation from France.

At the workshop, the French system of procedures that includes administrative procedures for a fully digital national platform was reviewed.

The Ministry of Economy said the workshop comes within the framework of the E-NABLE project funded by the European Union and aims to improve the capabilities of economic institutions for a diversified economic recovery.
