Misrata Chamber and Niger delegation discuss improved bilateral and African transit trade

Misrata Chamber of Commerce and a Nigerien delegation discussed improved bilateral trade as well as African transit trade.

The discussions took part yesterday at the Chamber’s Misrata headquarters, the Vice-Chairman of the Chamber’s Management Committee, Abdelmajid Balaou, accompanied by several board members, the Director-General of the Chamber, and a group of businessmen from the city.

They hosted the Nigerien delegation headed by Mohamed Anako, President of the Agadez Regional Council and Head of the Regional Councils in Niger, and the accompanying delegation.

Misrata Chamber reported that the meeting dealt with many economic issues of interest to the two countries, how to develop means of cooperation between them, and the importance of strengthening and consolidating economic relations to facilitate trade exchange and cooperation in various economic fields and opening roads for transit trade between Libya and the rest of Africa.
