The Ministry of Industry has congratulated LISCO for producing a record-breaking 230 rolls/300 tons of 8mm Rebar steel in one shift (Photo: LISCO).

London, 11 October 2021:

Libya’s Ministry of Industry and Minerals congratulated today the Misrata-based state Libyan Iron and Steel Company LISCO) for producing a record-breaking 230 rolls/300 tons of 8mm Rebar (Reinforcing bar) steel in one shift.

The production number was reached yesterday and LISCO said the company had not achieved such productivity for this item for more than ten years.

Congratulating the employees and management of LISCO on this achievement, the Ministry of Industry and Minerals invited them to continue working with determination and diligence, and stated that LISCO is considered today one of the most important industrial pioneers that did not stop and always continues to develop.
