Tripoli, 23 October 2021:
A delegation representing France’s Total Energies specialised in the field of solar panels and alternative energy met the chairman of the Privatization and Investment Board (PIB) today.
The two parties discussed the possibility of cooperation between the two sides in the field, and the search for better alternatives represented in clean energy and solar panels, and to benefit from Total’s expertise and successful experience in this field.
Discussions also took place on the investment opportunities available to establish a solar power plant in Libya of about 500 megawatts, and to divide it into several stations, beginning with the city of Tripoli, and extending to the south of Libya.
