The Municipality of Benghazi and the Stabilization Committee of Benghazi conducted a field tour of several projects on Thursday.
These included the Benghazi – Jardina – Sloug road projects and the 660 integrated housing units in the Jardina area of the city, under the supervision of the Projects Office in the municipality.
The project is an example of a local company being able to implement a large-scale housing project in Libya. It could act as a template for future projects in view of the reluctance of foreign contractors to return to complete their stalled Libyan projects.
The housing project is targeted to be completed by the end of this year.
